Developed in 1962 by the designer Robin Day,
the polypropylene chair is one the most affordable design classics going.
It has sold about 14 million world wide and is still made at the rate of over 500,000 a year.
A very light yet tough chair,
your school can usually get 10 years out of the Polyprop before fatigue sets in.

E-SERIES ORIGINAL
|
Robin Day designed the e-series polyprop as a low-cost mass-production chair for the education market in 1972.
It shows extreme strength and durability, making it ubiquitous in educational establishments.
A range of sizes ensures that it can be used everywhere,
from the largest in staff rooms and assembly halls to the smaller sizes, suitable for all ages of children.
We offer the e-series polychair in a choice of five sizes.
All models are stacking and have passed the rigorous performance tests for strength and suitability
for severe contract applications. The shells have fire retardant properties.

E-SERIES SWIVEL BASE
|
The e-series swivel chair is a direct response to the need for more flexible seating
in today's school environment.
It is an adaption of the original e-series chair using an ultra-strong steel screw height adjustable base.
The steel under seat assembly and base give the e-series swivel chair great strength and durability.
The chair features a no-maintenance self-oiling mechanism.
The seat height is adjustable via a manual screw lift.
We offer the e-series swivel chair in a choice of two sizes and eight colours.
Please specify whether you require glides or castors when you place your order.

E-SERIES WITH SKID BASE
|
The e-series skid base model features the same polypropylene shell as the e-series ORIGINAL.
It is available in 4 sizes, catering for the needs of grown-ups as well as children.
This new range is stackable and includes a linking facility as standard.
Skid base chairs are preferred by some clients because they offer increased frame strength
with no wearable feet.

E-SERIES WOODEN TOP
|
The wooden top stool uses the same frame as the original poly flat top.
The tops are available in solid MDF which can be sprayed in a variety of colour options,
or in natural beech. The seat has a cut-out handle for ease of carrying.
This stool is an attractive and durable addition to the range.
It is offered in 4 sizes to suit all age groups.
